A mini adventure and the new boat

The hubster and our oldest kids on the river.....just outside our room for the weekend.
We both trailer our boats and had parking outside the rooms. We did the Cheboygan river to
Mullette Lake to Indian River and back. It was a great learning experience as well as adventure.

The fireworks couldn't have been better and we sat out on our lawn chairs just out the slider in our rooms. Perfect....

Our holiday was wonderful. Spending the time together with our kids was the best of it all.
It's hard to steal moments with the oldest and his wife. They both work and have a family as well as their own cabin up north.

I couldn't hang with the big dogs....but I have to tell ya that was the best ever Belly Rub.

Feeling better but still waiting for that "normal" to return.
